The most valuable part of LA this year was the computers. I love all of the websites that we’ve been on and the little protopaqe, gmail, and this. I would have to say the most memorable thing in LA this year was the little poems that we used to copy in the beginning of the year. The lesson that really made me think was the poem to our mothers on mother’s day. This was very fun and creative =]

Friends

Friends

My accomplishment is dropping UN loyal friends. Well friends that isn’t really trustworthy or honest. The reason why I think this is an accomplishment is because if I were to keep them lord knows what good happen. I could possibly get in a fight end up getting suspended or something like that. One thing I did notice while in the process of doing this is that friends aren’t always nice.

You can go through so many things with your friends. Like there are so many new experiences. Whether they are your true friends or not. That’s the good thing about them. You’re having fun at one point but when you turn around there is a little piece of drama. This is always going to happen no matter who your friends are. These experiences can be bad and good at the same time. The bad experiences could lead to an argument or even a fight. This is guaranteed to end a friendship or start a bad one.

One more thing untrue friends will use you for so many things that it’s not even funny. You won’t even notice it until the friendship is over. Some things that were most likely used from me were money, gossip, candy, and so many others. I did recognize it but never really thought about it.

Some things I’ve learned from dropping my UN loyal friends is to ignore their little remarks, never fear them, and avoid being near them. If you don’t do these then you’re headed for a whole bunch of trouble. But this is all that i’ve learned from my accomplishment.

This sounds like an info essay but really its not. It’s like I’m talking to myself about what I learned. I hope this does get me a good grade.

May 23, 2008

Dear Mom, This is not a regular letter. This is a letter for me to tell you thank you for everything you ever did for me in the 13 years of my life. Even though this is for a grade Im gonna really tell you how I feel. Not only am I going to thank you for helping me grow up and all that kind of stuff. There’s more to my life that you helped me through. In the next paragraph you will see what these things are.

Thank you, for the clothes, food, and transportation given to me throughout all these years. You really don’t realize how much I appreciate these things from you. These aren’t the only things I am thanking you for there are so many others. Like thee good advice you give and talks about boys (laugh out loud).  I could also thank you for the clothing advice even though I don’t listen to you ha-ha. Another thing is for waking me up at all times of the night just for some advice on your clothes before you hit the square club.

Mommy I love you so much and there is so much more I could possibly thank you for. But none of it is anyone else’s business.

Sincerely,

Taylesha

Movie Review

doubtfire.jpg

The last movie that I watched was Mrs. Doubtfire. I have been watching this movie since it came out. I was very young when I first saw this movie. It was almost my favorite movie back then, but there were others before it.

This movie was basically about a man who had got divorced and had to leave his children. He really missed them after the divorce. In fact he missed him so badly that he got himself a mask and body suit to fit a woman, but this was after he discovered she had wanted a babysitter. He called his ex wife’s house and told her that he would like to take the job as the babysitter.

So his ex wife approved and he began babysitting his children disguised as a woman. What he learned is that his children don’t listen at all. Not only did he get the joy of seeing his children but he also got to teach his children lessons in this film. This whole babysitting thing went on for a long time.

The longer this went on the closer the children got to discovering that their babysitter was their father. Its crazy how they finally found out too. The youngest child (little boy) was walking toward the bathroom and he saw “Mrs. Doubtfire” using the bathroom standing up (if you know what im saying). This caused the little boy to go to his older sister and brother and tell them what he saw. Their father had no other choice but to tell them the truth.Of course his ex-wife found out. So they came to an agreement that he could see the kids whenever he wanted.

My favorite part of this film was where Mrs. Doutbfire got on the bus and she changed some of her clothes. The bus driver thought that she was just getting naked so he tried to look at her while she undressed. I find it very funny.

Well I have nothing left to say so hope you enjoy this review. Maybe you’ve seen it before.

Field at Cape

Posted on May 2nd, 2008 in essay by eyysha

The Cape sports are really good. Honestly I think that having a new swimming pool and a field really would be a good idea for the new high school. I did hear that there was already going to be a pool though but I will just put that aside. There are many things that people can do with a new swimming pool and a field. This will have a positive effect on the community.

Sports are a huge part of the Cape Henlopen School District. Like we are known for our good track team, football team, really all the sports teams are good throughout this district middle and high school. The field would really help the outdoor teams have better practices and much more games and meets.

Some good ideas that could help these teams is the high school track team as well as middle could have a meet at the high school on the same day also at the same time with the new field. If the new field isn’t going to be put at Cape it should at least be at Mariner or Beacon Middle. Some more things that the field could be used for are exercise for the community and students after school or even on weekends. Little league games could be held there and parties as well for sports teams or someone’s birthday party.

I really would rather have the extra field instead of the pool. They both seem great to me but the field is much more wanted because there are other sports with much needed practices and space to play games or have meets. The pool would be great if needed or not needed. The pool could be used almost every other day so yeah it would help part of high school.

Well I hope you take on to my opinion. I think that this essay really would help decide on whether or not to get a pool and extra field. Being that there are many students doing this essay for your sake as well as our teachers and grades.
